Situated at a distance of 3 km from Bhilai is a sleepy little village by the name of Deobaloda. The village is most famous for an ancient Shiva Temple built in red sandstone, which is said to be one of the oldest Shiva temples in Chhattisgarh. The temple is a little dilapidated but over the years, devotees and people taking care of the temple have tried to renovate it and maintain its look. It is said that there is a Shiva Ling that had emerged several years ago at the spot where the temple is built. The mandap inside the temple has five pillars and it also has a kund.
