        Bhedaghat in MP is a town in the Jabalpur district. The River Narmada flows by Bhedaghat which is about 20 km from the city of Jabalpur. The best way to reach Bhedaghat is by train while the fastest way to do this is probably to travel by air to Jabalpur and thereafter by a taxi to Bhedaghat. Bhedaghat is famous for Marble Rocks and Dhuandhar Falls as well as the popular Chausath Yogini temple.

        Bhedaghat has a good network of roads. It is only 6h 30m away from Bhopal if you drive on the NH146 to cover the distance of 320 km. From Delhi Bhedaghat is about 842 km by road while from Mumbai one can drive on the NH52 and reach Bhedaghat in about 20 h. Kolkata is almost 24 h away if you drive on the NH19 and cover the distance of 1145 km.

        Bhedaghat does not have a railhead. However, Jabalpur, which is only 25 km away, has a very important and busy Junction. Jabalpur Junction is a broad-gauge railway station which is connected with Itarsi to the south-west, Katni to the north-east and Nainpur Junction to the South. Jabalpur Junction is very well connected to all the important cities in India. Some of these cities include Delhi and Nagpur besides Kolkata, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Patna among others. The railway station at Jabalpur is located close to the city centre and one can get diverse types of transport at the station to reach Bhedaghat.

        Bhedaghat does not have an airport. However, Jabalpur has an airport called Dumna Airport which is only 25 km away from Bhedaghat. Dumna Airport is connected by air with major cities in India such as Delhi and Mumbai besides Ranchi, Chandigarh, Rajkot and Aurangabad. Foreign visitors may land in Delhi or Mumbai and take a connecting flight to Jabalpur. Jabalpur airport has taxis that visitors can take to reach Bhedaghat.

        There are state buses that you can use for travel between Bhedaghat and Jabalpur. There are auto-rickshaws too that one can share if you wish to go to Jabalpur. Government buses also ply between the two places. Of course the best method of travel is the motorboat that you can take from Panchvati Ghat Jetty. It costs Rs. 30 per passenger for the 50 minute ride on the River Narmada.
