Raja Bhoj Airport is located only 15 km away from the centre of the city. It is on the air map of several cities in the country. 

 

By Rail:

The weather of Bhopal is extreme. It is blazing hot in summer and at times bitterly cold in winter. The rains come in torrents and navigation becomes difficult at times during the monsoon. It is best to visit the city when it is cool, between October and March, though the winter truly sets in by December and lasts till February. 

 

Summer (April-June):

Summer in Bhopal is most uncomfortable. The temperature could shoot up to 47°C and one cannot venture outside during this time. 

 

Monsoon (June to September):

Bhopal turns green and is very beautiful during the monsoon. However, the weather becomes laden with moisture and it is very humid. The roads flood often and commuting may at times become difficult. 

 

Winter (December-February):

Bhopal is very beautiful during winter. It is chilly and at times misty and it is fun to visit places of interest during this time.
