Summer (March- June)
Summers of Rajkot are extremely hot and dry. The season usually starts from the mid of March and spans till mid of June. The temperature slowly increases and reaches its peak between May and June. It can get as high as 43 °C. This is when the life in Rajkot becomes difficult especially during the day because of unbearable heat. This obviously makes sightseeing a difficult task. Winter is the most pleasant time to visit Rajkot. In fact, it is the best time to visit anywhere in Gujarat and India. The winter season starts from the month of November and remains until February. Everything in Rajkot comes alive during this time, including tourism. People flock in from all parts of the country to visit some amazing places the city has to offer. Occasionally, the weather in winters gets extreme and the temperature gets as low as 2 °C. But the whole winter season is pleasant.
