Summer (March - June)
Gujarat experiences some of the toughest weather conditions in India. It is generally hot and dry during this season. It is not recommended to plan a trip during this time. Monsoon (July - September)
Monsoon brings the temperature down to some extent and the weather becomes quite pleasant for travellers. There are a few regions which don't receive minimum rains and there are places which get torrential heavy rainfall. So plan your trip accordingly. Monsoons are generally pleasant, and places like Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Dwarka, and Saputara have high number of tourists travelling to these places for several attractions.

Winter (October - February)
Winter offers the best climatic conditions to Gujarat and the weather here is at its most pleasant during this time. The number of tourists visiting Gujarat increases exponentially during winters and all tourist places can be seen with a lot of foreigners and Indian travellers. The best thing about winters in Gujarat is that it is not severely cold unlike the northern region of India. One can enjoy the natural beauty of Gujarat, greenery and some exquisite locations.
