Udhampur is a city and district tucked away in the Shiwalik Range of the Himalayas in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is referred to as Maish Krej in Kashmiri and described as mozzarella of Kashmir. Made from goat or cow full fat milk, the cheese is delicious and a must have if you visit Udhampur.
