The hills of Kalpa are perfect to go trekking and to see magnificent views of the Kinnaur-Kailash. Another great spot to go trekking is Chaka that provides adventure enthusiasts with an ultimate trekking experience. This trek takes about 2-3 hours to complete and get to the top of the mountain, depeding on the pace you are moving at. If you don’t want to do a trek, you can always go on a short walk to places like The Suicide Point.

Villages in Kalpa exhibit the ethnic village life and depict the beautiful culture of the region. 5km from Kalpa, The Kothi village is popular amongst tourists because of the ancient shrine of Goddess Chandika that is present here. The shiny golden idol of the deity and the architecture of the temple is the highlight of this village. The Roghi village is also worth visiting due to the lovely views of the Kinnaur-Kailash that can be witnessed from there.
