Paris Weather And Best Time To Visit Paris
Just the word 'PARIS' shouts out beauty and history. Paris, the capital city of France, is one of the most famous holiday destinations for people around the world. The city offers a grand list of once in a lifetime experiences and swoops its visitors each time with new amazement. Even with its changing weathers and hues, Paris continues to be radiant in all its glory. Given the variety of people and choices that the city caters to each year, it is safe to say, there is no single best season to visit Paris. It is picturesque and welcoming at all times.
Summer (June – August)
This is the most preferred season among tourists visiting Paris. Bearing this in mind, it is important to note that there will be a surge in the prices and limited availability of hotel rooms. However, rains can be expected to be heavy at times in July. During this time of the year, there are sunny days more than ever. This season brings in many complimentary outdoor and free movie experiences. One can also enjoy the man-made beach for sunbathing along the Seine river. Also, the biggest festival of France, Bastille Day is celebrated in this season.
Fall (September – October)
For all the tourists wanting to visit Paris without burning a hole in their pockets, fall is the perfect season. It has comparatively lesser people and therefore, a little more space. The weather is still at its best with enough sunny days and the pretty foliage of the season. Though, it is important to follow the dates of the Paris fashion week which takes place at this time of the year, bringing back crowds to the city and a surge in prices.
Winter (November – February)
Paris does not experience snow fall frequently. It is a rare phenomenon. In winters, the skies are grey and dull. And rains can be expected at any time. Though, it still makes for a great chilly trip around the city with the upside of having empty streets and museums without queues. You can simply sit in one of its many bistros and enjoy a warm cuppa coffee or hot chocolate. Christmas is also a great time to be in the city. During Christmas, one can enjoy the large ice-skating rink that is set up at the boardwalk in front of the Hotel de Ville.
Spring (March – May)
This is the best time for people on a budget trip. The thawing winters have gone past, but Paris in spring is still not as crowded as the summer months. There is a fresh vibe to the Parisian beauty. Spring in Paris is every first-time visitor's dream come true. Most hotels and airlines have lower rates as it is considered to be the off-season.
