All major domestic carriers fly to Cochin. Some international carriers that connect to Cochin are Singapore Airlines, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and Etihad Airways.

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation connects Alleppey to major towns and cities in the state.  Private luxury air conditioned buses also ply daily from the neighbouring cities of Mumbai, Bengaluru, Mangalore, Chennai, Mysore and Coimbatore. For those living close by to the state, a bus journey is quite a good option because the road to Kerala is breathtakingly beautiful.

Alleppey or Alappuzha is well connected by State Highways SH66, SH40 and SH11. It falls in the North-South-East-West corridor which connects the four megalopolises (New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata) of the country. The city is also connected by NH 47. So just take that car for a spin down the serene highway to Kerala!
