A scenic road trip of around 3 hours will take you to Mawsynram from Shillong through private taxis or buses that can be availed from the airport itself. Some travellers may even prefer to fly into Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport in Guwahati, Assam, instead of Shillong for more options with direct flights across the country.
