The main airport currently serving the city of Kushinagar is the Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport, located at a distance of 46.9 km from the center of the city. This is one of the most convenient ways to reach the religious city of Kushinagar. Although the airport has flights that connect Kushinagar to other major cities in India, these flights aren’t very frequent; if you are not able to find a flight of your choice and timing to Gorakhpaur, you can always take a flight to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow which is 340.4 km from Kushinagar. This airport in Lucknow has more number of flights that fly within the country as well as internationally.
