The hotels they booked were excellent, especially the one in Darjeeling with its stunning view. Waking up there felt like being in the clouds. The meals served were delicious. However, there could have been more transparency in the itinerary regarding entry tickets to certain places. It would have been helpful to know in advance about the challenges of visiting Tsomogo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass. We paid an additional 5000 for Nathula, but couldn't visit due to bad weather. We only managed a brief visit (not more than 20 minutes) to Tsomogo Lake due to worsening conditions. Our driver lacked the necessary tools (chains for tires) for safe travel on snowy roads. Gombu Rock was only seen from the car on our way to another destination. Despite these issues, experiencing unexpected snowfall made it enjoyable. In Darjeeling, the tea estate was disappointing, with only dried leaves to see. However, places like Lamahatta, Tinchuley, and the zoo were delightful. Overall, Kaushik, the tour organizer, was helpful in resolving our queries promptly. ❤️
