By Air:

The main airport to get to Rajim is in Raipur known as Swami Vivekananda International Airport. Distanced at 42.7 km from the town, this airport serves national and international passengers. You can get several modes of transport from the airport to reach your hotel.

 

By Road:

A road trip anywhere is always exciting, especially to any place in Chhattisgarh as the state has an abundance of natural beauty. You can drive out there or you can buses that are economical and will save you more money for when you need it on the trip.

 

By Rail:

The main railhead that serves Rajim is Rajim Railway Station. The station is distanced at 3.6 km from the center of the town and is the most convenient way to get there. Summer (April-June):

Summers are the most brutal season in Rajim as it is the hottest. Temperatures during this time range from 32°C-43°C and some seasons they go up even higher. This is not the best time to visit, but if you plan to, you must visit waterfalls of the region.

 

Monsoon (July-October):

The second longest season in the year, monsoons in Rajim is moderate and quite pleasant for sightseeing. Temperatures in this region during rains is between 21°C-28°C and the climate becomes cooler and much more bearable.

 

Winter (November-March):

The best season to visit Rajim is during November to March which is the winter time; temperatures during this time range from 5°C-15°C and are quite cold during the peak season. This is a nice to come to this place and explore it fully.

Attend Kumbh Mela:

If you are in Rajim in the month of January, chances are you are going to attend the Kumbh Mela. Even if you aren’t, there is no way you can miss out of the celebrations of the festival, so might as well take part in it. At the Kumbh Mela, there are several shops to buy different items from.
