Summers, lasting from March to May, are balmy but pleasant, making it possible to enjoy the sea breeze and warm sand at your feet. This is one of the busiest seasons here as school vacations are observed in the Indian subcontinent. Water-sports are great to help beat the heat and you get long sunny hours on the beach. Monsoons start at the end of May and continue until August, and the months are accentuated with medium to heavy rains with thunderstorms, making sight-seeing a bit of a problem. September to November are the post-monsoon months, wherein the weather gets pleasant and cool, but at times, in September, visitors may find it difficult to explore the Andamans due to sudden drizzles and dark days. October and November are better months as compared to September if you wish to plan your trip in this period.

On the contrary, December to May are said to be the best time to visit Andaman, as the Andaman weather goes from nippy and enjoyable in December, to warm and pleasing at the start of the year.
