We three (myself, my wife and my daughter) booked our 6-day trip to Bali, Indonesia using TravelOCat company services.
Mr. Dev Suthar was our contact. The company booked our tickets, stay at hotel Grand Zuri, Kuta, and the trip itself.
We preferred to have our private car. We reached Bali on Tuesday, 14 Jan morning at scheduled time.
We finished our Visa tracker stamping, bought a SIM card and checked at the Information centre and outside for our airport pickup.
We were in a shock to find nobody was holding a placard there bearing my name.
We found all drivers waiting there for their respective clients, holding placards displaying their clients' names.
We called Hotel (Grand Zuri) and booked our own car to reach the hotel and called our Bali contact of Sita Travel Services and they
WhatsApp'd a pic of driver holding a placard bearing my name. It was not clear where and during what time he waited for us.
As contact was immediately established with them after checking into hotel, the rest of the trip was fine, flawless, and enjoyable.
We enjoyed the drive to Banyumala (my first pick) waterfalls, the Ulun Danu temple, Kintamani volcano site, water sports by beach side,
Tanah Lot where you see the world's most beautiful sunset into the sea, and last but not the least, the Bali Bird park.
Each day we started at 10:00AM and returned to hotel by 7:00PM.
We returned home with sweet memories of Bali and hundreds of pics and videos.
To those who didn't visit Bali and are planning it, I recommend that you buy lots of big water bottles from a near by grocery store.
All over Bali, you find AlfaMart and IndoMaret shops. Drinking water is not free even in hotels and should be purchased.
While the entire trip is not too cheap, it's not prohibitively expensive either.
Please carry a few hundred US dollars and a few lakhs of Indonesian rupiah with you before you board the flight to Bali. It helps.
We did so and it saves time.
After we came back, I talked to Dev Suthar about the glitch of no airport car pickup and he offered us refund of that cost.
It was nice of him. I do recommend TravelOcat for their professional services and thorough planning with their partners. Hope this helps.
