Disappointing Experience with Rajasthan Tourism Holidays (RTH)

What's Not Good: I recently visited Rajasthan for 9 days and my experience with Rajasthan Tourism Holidays (RTH) was extremely disappointing.
Miscommunication and Unfulfilled Promises:
We were promised a full-day tour with a guide at Jaipur, but due to poor communication, the guide arrived in the afternoon, causing confusion and missed attractions. The tour manager had overbooked the itinerary, squeezing two days' worth of activities into one. Key locations were skipped or inadequately covered.
Unprofessional Behavior:
Due to the poor service on day 1 and confusion, we decided to pay the package amount in installments, as initially agreed with the tour manager. However, while on our way to Bikaner, the tour manager unexpectedly called, stopping the vehicle and demanding that we pay the entire amount or be abandoned in the middle of our trip. This behavior was shocking, especially since we were traveling with senior citizens. After a lengthy conversation, we were forced into paying 60% of the trip amount to continue the journey.
Upon reaching Bikaner, the driver was unfamiliar with the area and refused to visit several promised sites. Many locations were not covered due to negligence.
Misleading Tour and Unfulfilled Promises:
Despite promises of a full-day guided tour at Udaipur, only part of the itinerary was covered. We were taken to maintenance sites, and key attractions were skipped or inadequately covered.
Hotel Accommodations:
The quality of hotels was inconsistent, with better accommodations for shorter stays and subpar options for longer stays.
Summary of Issues:
- The tour guide only covered government-run sites and ignored the itinerary.
- The tour manager demanded full payment under duress.
- Many promised sites were missed due to poor planning and driver negligence.
- Hotels were inconsistent in quality.
Conclusion:
Rajasthan is beautiful, but our experience with RTH was far from satisfactory. I do not recommend this agency based on their unprofessional service and failure to deliver on promises.

This has been a wonderful trip to Jaipur, Kishangarh, Puskar, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Jasilmer, Sam Sand Dunes, mount Abu and Udaipur- all arranged by Rajasthan Tourism Holiday. Especially the CEO ma'am (a huge kudos to Manju Choudhary ma'am) have been brilliant support to the entire trip, they made our trip really effortless. The way she responded to change the desert camp in sam Sand Dunes is highly appreciated. The cab and driver were friendly. I highly recommend them as a tour planner. Lastly I want to add Great service, quick responses, no issues.

It was our first time visit to jaipur and we were lucky enough to meet Rajasthan tourism Holiday travel company. They really helped us throughout. And we got Mr. Mahesh( Sameer) as our driver - he was an amazing person. He made us feel very comfortable and safe, and had great customer service. Our journey was very smooth and he shared a-lot about forts, markets & food. I will highly recommend him. We will come back to rajasthan and book him again

Had great experience with Rajasthan Tourism Holiday(RTH), Manju ji was helpful throughout the tour and the hotels were awesome and worth the price. However, the desert safari was overpriced(Rs 1000) but considering a probable one time visit to sand dunes, can be overlooked! In summary, I recommend going through RTH !

Hi We had booked 5 nights 6 day tour for Rajasthan, namely cities Jaipur Jodhpur and Udaipur. The tour was well organised with decent selection of hotels. The vehicle along with driver allocated were decent, with some scope of improvement.

Amazing rajasthan adventure with rajasthan tourism holiday,,, Rajasthan Tourism Holiday family travel packages are excellent. Our trip from Jaipur to Udaipur and jodhpur Jaisalmer was well-planned with activities suited for all ages. The accommodations were comfortable, and the itinerary was engaging. Great service and organization for family trips
