The overall travel planning, transport arrangements, and coordination were well-managed, and I found the Gazala and team responsive and supportive throughout the journey. The hotel in Darjeeling was excellent and clearly the best among all, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. However, the hotel experience in Gangtok and Pelling was disappointing and fell short of the assured standard, which affected the overall trip experience. The Pelling hotel was worst among all, dirty bedsheets and big spider roaming in the room. I strongly recommend Hodophilia to review and refine its hotel partnerships to deliver more consistent quality and value to customers. While I do appreciate their efforts in managing the itinerary and logistics, I believe with stronger focus on hotel quality, Hodophilia can provide a far more satisfying and reliable travel experience in the future. 1. We recently enjoyed an amazing 5-day, 4-night family trip to Meghalaya with my wife and daughter, all perfectly organized by Hodophilia Travel Agency! The entire experience—from the itinerary and stays to the cab service—was handled with great care and professionalism, making our trip utterly delightful and stress-free. Our initial itinerary was planned by Ms. Soniya, who truly understood our needs. When she had to step away due to personal reasons, Mr. Athar Nawaz Hussain took charge and did a fantastic job! We requested some last-minute changes to the itinerary, and Mr. Athar promptly made those adjustments, tailoring everything just the way we wanted. He stayed in regular touch throughout the trip, was always polite, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth.We did face a small issue at one of the homestays, but it was taken care of quickly once we raised it. A huge shoutout to our wonderful driver, Mr. Thapa, who truly made our trip special! He was very friendly, patient, and made us feel very safe and comfortable at all times. Being vegetarians, he kindly took us to good vegetarian restaurants throughout the trip, which we really appreciated. When fog obscured a couple of viewpoints, he quickly redirected us to alternate spots that were even better. Plus, he surprised us by taking us to stunning waterfalls not on the itinerary, where we swam and had an unforgettable time—that moment became the highlight of our trip! Mr. Thapa was always courteous, patient, and never rushed us, making every drive comfortable and relaxing. Overall, Hodophilia Travel Agency impressed us with their personalized service, attention to detail, and genuine care. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Meghalaya—you’re in the best hands!
