Aura Voyages is too professional to be ethically correct. Still I believe you won't be disappointed if you follow their offered itinerary 100% but the moment you have your say included in the itinerary, you must be very very careful as it becomes 100% your responsibility although they are paying directly to even your chosen services at destination end. In ours it happened in hotel case which they presented as more expensive hotel which was even below par their own suggested hotel and we were not allowed to even complain - cannot to hotel as we didn't pay them directly nor to tour operator as their reply was hotel chosen by us which we admitted but why overpaid to hotel as being in industry for over 2 decades, Aura Voyages must know how to negotiate charges accordingly irrespecting of just paying what a hotel quotes to them only because it was customer's choice (and who knows only we were charged extra). But as per itinerary we cannot question as we were provided what was on paper but a trip experience goes beyond itinerary as well. Anyway bad experience also teaches good things so lesson learnt for which we thanked Aura Voyages.

Being professionals we always try to provide exactly the same services as committed and mentioned during our correspondence stage with a client before confirming the tour to them. And exactly the same committed services were provided to you as well but as per you we made a big mistake by remaining honest in terms of providing the same committed services to you.
You didn't accept our suggested hotel even after giving assurances and we booked you in your own preferred hotel. If you didn't find your preferred hotel satisfactory then how can you blame us even if that was slightly more expensive than the earlier one. You booked a budgeted accommodation which you knew well in advance but after reaching at the hotel you expected that same hotel to be a Deluxe one.
Even if you had paid us for your hotel stay, you had all the right to complain directly to the hotel about your stay experience as you were staying there onsite. But you didn't complain them directly, why ? We also spoke to the hotel and instruct them to provide their best possible services to you. Does the onus comes on us for your unpleasant stay even after booking your own preferred hotel. Also, it's better that you don't tell us how to make contracting with the hotels. We have never seen a guest like you who wishfully is trying to tarnish the image of other businesses even knowing the fact that you yourself are on the wrong side. Your negative remarks will not deter us in continuously trying to be honest and clear with all our guests and we will always try our best to give pleasant tours to our guests.
