Apart from initial glitch in the booking, the whole programme went through smooth like velvet.
We were received at the Paro Airport by our guide, ever courteous Dhana , later joined by Shailesh. We were kept fully informed of day to day programme very efficiently. Everything went systematically, right from the word go, with great detailing regarding local sims/ currency and laws.
Shailesh was great organiser besides good host. We were pleasantly surprised to get birthday celebrations for my wife Indu. It was very thoughtful.
All the hotels were good, but Paro was great almost picture perfect! Wish we had more time there.
The group was another surprise! We jelled well.
Overall great trip to talk about with friends about the efficiency of Shailesh and Goomo. Goomo is worth recommending !

This was our first booking with Goomo and it went seamlessly, right from booking, boarding and landing at Paro.
They took care of everything a tourist worries about. A local sim was arranged as soon as we reached Thimphu. We were informed about the currency too in advance. A big thanks to Shailesh who was our tour manager and excellent company too. The hotels were good and at Paro it was simply superb. Tours were comfortable and very enjoyable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us a good background about every place we visited. Nothing was rushed or squeezed in for namesake. And above all, the package was relatively very reasonably priced. I will definitely refer Goomo to all my friends and we hope to travel with them again.

NEVER BOOK WITH GOOMO

I had a very pathetic experience with goomo.com and I shall never ever refer goomo to anyone. I started booking my honeymoon in july, for my travel in DEC.
Booking was handled by sales person Ms Delna, she did not inform me that my air tickets are not included in the package cost. She was constanly in touch with me for other details but never did she mention that I have to book my own tickets. No one has given me any breifing regarding my tour the exaact inclusions and excluisons was unclear. The package excludes does not mention the air tickets are not inlcuded and this was told to me just 15 days prior to my travel dates.

At this point when its only 3 days left for my travel I have been told that my flights and other transfers are costing me Rs 62k extra over and above my package cost. Why should I bear this cost ?? my original land cost was Rs 50k, but this additional flight is costing me even more than my original cost. In this cost I would done a internatonal trip.

This experience totally ruined my honeymoon experience and this is very unprofessional behaviour from goomo staff. After requesting to help me out, I am not getting any help from any of their team members.
