They promised to take us to certain places, but the driver was rude and kept making excuses. He would stop far from our destination and asked us, including kids, to walk. We wasted two days and our money on a service we didn't receive. I strongly recommend not booking with them.

Varanasi was the true highlight of the trip, a Holy city and much calmer than the other cities, if you can have a calm city in India. We stayed three nights. Our tour operator had booked this part of the trip with Galaxy Tours, Mr Pawan met us at the hotel and agreed what we wanted to do there. From then the organisation was taken over by our tour guide Master Blaster. He grew up and lived in Varanasi and gave us a feel for the true India. Walks through the city, visits to the Ganges, a view of the burning site and a prime view of the evening light ceremony were all spectacular. A visit to the Muslim quarter where silk is woven was very special. Plus lots of temples
