Especially a single root bridge(a tedious and precautionary one), Kaziranga Jeep Safari(full of remembrance), and Maa Kamakhya temple(full of blessings of Maa Kamakhya). Hoping for a further tour with Chrismastree Hospitality

Trip For:
What's Good: Request you to read it before you book with them for trip to Meghalaya. 1. They were pre-informed while the package was being booked, that there would be 3 people including 2 senior citizens. Hence, to book the hotels only where lit would be there or there isn't much to climb (stairs). The Hospitality team was very sweet while convincing us to book and told that they would be very careful with that face while booking. But then, they booked us hotels like Treetops Residency (in Shillong) - refer to google to just see how steep the slope was (since I am unable to attach image here) - equivalent to climbing upto third floor without lift and extremely steep slope. Then they say - it is what it is, we cannot do anything about it now. 2. Next, the team which was supposed to assist us 24x7 (as they promised us), they were least bothered with hospitality that they had to provide to us. The only thing they cared about was *MONEY*. Whenever we faced problems and contacted them, they rarely picked up calls. But whenever it came to money, they made more than 4 calls a day just to ask for money - that too, not from a single person who was in touch with us during the trip, but calls by 3-4 people from the management team. The last day turned hell when they ordered to driver - not to move the car anywhere until the amount is given to them. 3. Since we are talking about money, let's continue. Even though we were paying them in cash and they had no issues in that, they forced us to make UPI payment at Dawki (where internet connection was a bit weak and due to which my transaction got stuck for a long time). We were warned that until the remaining amount is paid, the Manager of that team (won't name him here) will *NOT ALLOW US TO CHECK IN AT ANY COST. As discussed before, we were given another harassment cum warning - **THE VEHICLE WILL NOT MOVE AN INCH UNTIL THE AMOUNT IS PAID*. How can one believe on people who were providing such rude services to behave properly once their remaining money is paid ?? Our last day was turned hell by multiple of these harassment type calls. Even though we had cash ready to pay to the manager (who had already collected a sum of INR 20k in cash from us before hand), but they forced us to pay online in a low internet area with >. PATHETIC. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.. 4. I do understand that there would be lack of WiFi services in such hilly areas. But when they booked hotels with no lifts, no responsible staff (Had to face a loss of Two insulin packs which was costed more than 2.5k - and no member to assist us with it), rude team members who even shouted at my father on the second last day. THIS WAS EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE. 5. Okay, so you must be wondering if the issue was all about money, then why didn't I pay it all at day 1 and then continued with the trip peacefully? Well the answer lies in the fact that we need suitable receipts of our trip (since my father had to use them to claim LTC). We had a clear cut conversation beforehand that we would need the receipts and as soon as the receipts are provided to us, we will hand the remaining 15% of the money on the spot to the manager exact at that point (and this is what actually happened at the end). But what happened in between day 1 till that point was all described before. Since, previously on our last trip to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, we had faced this issue of the trip advisors not sending us those trip payment receipts, not picking up calls later on, no communication. Hence, we had to take this precautionary step this time as well but little did we know that the refreshment we were aiming for in this trip would turn into extreme tension. How many hardships we had to face, we don't want anyone else to face them. Hence, we suggest you not to book with them. Go for any other services but not them. ( I wish I could attach the photos, videos, call recordings here only so that you get to know what you will be facing if you go with them).

I am happy with the services of Christmas Tree Hospitality. Mr.Preanjit was very helpful. Hotels were booked in advance and no problem faced during check-ins.
Overall, I am happy with programme management.
