This is in reference to our South Africa Trip which we booked through you(Akqua Sun) for 6 pax. We had faced few challenges while in the trip and also were misguided in few instances.

At Kruger National Park: We were told that our property in which we are staying – Bongani Mountain Lodge is in Kruger National Park. But whereas when we reached there we were unhappy as the property was in outskirts of Kruger(South western border of Kruger) almost 100kms from bongani and they didn’t have any game drives in Kruger National Park. When inquired at reception they said you need to book Kruger Safari at additional cost of 1372 ZAR per person. This was unacceptable as we had categorically mentioned that we wanted to stay in Kruger National Park along with Game Drives in Kruger and not private ones. In this case we could have opted for Pilansberg and saved our money travelling to Kruger. The main reason to visit Kruger was to explore the core jungle. This was purely misguided by your team and we had to bear additional cost and miss the game drives at Bongani Mountain Lodge which we had already paid for

- Secondly, we were told that we would be charged Conservation Fee directly at the hotel for staying in Kruger National Park. But we didn’t stay in Kruger National Park and we were charged 2040 ZAR for 6 people(340 pp for two nights).

- Thirdly, we were confirmed on mail & on phone by Arifa that Tsitsikama National Park suspension bridge was included in our itinerary. We had asked for revised itinerary from Akqua Sun and they denied and mentioned on mail about the inclusions. When we reached there our guide(Jehaad) was not informed about the same. This led to confusion and number of calls to and from Kynasa about re confirming the same.

- For Cango Caves, there were two options Heritage Tour & Adventure tour and the difference between the two tour was 15 ZAR pp. We were booked on Heritage tour and not given an option for Adventure tour which was much appreciated by tourist visiting cango caves.

- For Cango wild life ranch, there was an option available for combo tour of visiting the ranch along with one interaction and that would have saved us 80 ZAR pp. These options were not provided to us while booking the tour. This is purely a case of misguidance from your end as we would expect that from Travel Agent specializes in South Africa. We have spent additional money on interaction with animals which we could have saved on.



Overall it is very disheartening to write that in spite of spending and trusted you as our tour operator we were misguided in the tour.

Our trip to Dubai through Aqua Sun was disappointing and unpleasant. The tour was not as per the itinerary. The staff were rude and unprofessional. Aqua Sun does not care about customer satisfaction or honesty.
