Dilra Tours Private Limited

To begin with, it’s a privilege to write a review about our trip to Sri Lanka with the Dilra Tours, someone we had never heard before. The previous travel company with whom we had travelled just four months ago recommended Dilra Tours as they were excellent in handling the Sri Lankan Package. (Dilra Team lived up to the recommendation and reputation).

As a family, it took us some time to come to a conclusion whether to go ahead with Dilra Tours or not, for a simple reason i.e. Dilra Tours is based in Sri Lanka (Colombo) and communicating with a team based in a foreign country was like taking chances.

We had a lengthy list of questions seeking clarifications from the Dilra Tours. Mr. Rachitha, the Director of the company, spared his precious time answering all our questions and cleared every doubt we had.

The Dilra team was excellent in communicating with us at every step. Friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Rachitha who personally supervised and chalked out the itinerary keeping in mind my mother’s age (80 years old).

We travelled from Colombo to Kandy and other places, literally stayed in five hotels in the span of eight days. The hotels were good, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home. The food was good.

The pick-up was always on time. Something very difficult to believe. The guide cum chauffer Mr. Terik was more like our family member. Extremely good human being and a very helpful person.

The Dilra team handled the airport transfers, the allotment of our rooms in a very professional manner. It provided us with what they promised. It was every bit worth of money.

The Dilra team needs to be credited for its seamless management due to which our trip was extremely smooth, convenient, satisfying and comfortable. It’s the personal touch of Mr. Rachitha and Mr. Terik that made us feel so safe and reliable. Thanks once again to both of them.

I will certainly recommend Dilra Tours to those travelling to Sri Lanka.

We had a very memorable and excellent trip to Sri Lanka from 19th to 23rd.April.The entire package was well planned by a amazing, helpful and great tour operator DILRA TOURS. Visited various religious places, tea garden, water sports, scenic places. Travel by air-conditioned car, driven by Mr Anurrudh was very relaxing and comfortable. Our special thanks to Mr. Mrs Rachitha Perera, who went out of their way to meet us, on our departure. We highly recommend this agency to all the visitors who plan their trip to SriLanka.Ayubowan!

I am satisfied with the trip. Friendly and well informed drivers. I regret that I did not book 4 stars hotels; some of the 3 stars hotels were not so good.

Places visited very few. More on relaxation. I think they should improve the system.

Dilra Tours was AMAZING from start to finish in the planning our perfect vacation to Sri Lanka. When starting the planning process, they listened!  We explained our desires for what areas we wanted to visit, the types of activities that we wanted to incorporate into our vacation, and our accommodation needs.  They gave us very helpful recommendations and suggestions followed by the creation of an initial itinerary for us to review. They were always patient, very pleasant, available, and quickly responded to our numerous questions both by email and WhatsApp.  They sent both printed information as well as web links for us to review suggested activities, hotels, and regions of the country that we were to visit. After several weeks of making some adjustments, we solidified and finalized our itinerary.  Traveling, especially internationally can be stressful.  Dilra Tours made everything so easy and stress free.  They arranged all of our hotels, activities, transportation, and even our breakfast, lunch & dinner.  All we had to do was show up.  We had greeters at the airport, individuals to help us with our luggage, and drivers to our hotels as well as to and from all of our activities.  They had a day by day itinerary printed for us so we knew where we were going, what time we were being picked up, and what we needed to bring/wear for each activity.  Everyone that they contracted with were professional, pleasant, and dependable. This included the drivers as well as the sites for our activities.  The hotels were amazing! All of our activities were amazing. Individuals from our travel agency checked in with us throughout our vacation to ensure we were doing well. This was the most perfect and memorable vacation and we have Dilra Tours to thank for that. I would recommend them to everybody without hesitation.  I am very appreciative for their time and really feel as if they treated our vacation as if they were planning it for their own family. 

I made 3 trips to Sri Lanka with Dilra. It was wonderful and very great.
Dillra has complete package to Sri Lanka and covers all around the country from south to north.
They have best guide and best in service.

We took a one week tour with Dilra and came back extremely pleased.The driver-guide Anuruddha was excellent company and a superb driver. Hotels all nice and the sites chosen excellent.
At the end Rachitha and his associate surprised us with a lovely surprise and some reimbursment for unused activities.
We can highly recommend this company.

Dilra Tours put together a fine tour for us with great 4+ star hotels. Our driver/guide was very good and a safe driver.

Very good service,punctual and always keeps passenger happy during travel. Best way to view Sri Lanka
