India's diverse festivals are celebrated year-round by families. Holi is one such festival that fills the country with colour and joy.
We'll connect when you land at Delhi International Airport T3. Our representative will greet you at the lounge and help you to your hotel to prepare for the memorial ride.
Delhi Sightseeing
Today we'll explore Delhi's rich history. Its great monuments and fast metro life will amaze you.
Early morning, we would visit Delhi.
This trip begins in Old Delhi, where the diversity of people sharing land is beautiful. In 1638, Shah Jahan built the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. 5000 unsung artisans created this stunning architectural vision. Now it's time to experience local India with a fun rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Delhi's busiest and oldest market, built in the 17th century and reflecting India's diversity.
We'll visit Lutyen's Delhi by noon to honour the brave Indian soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars at the India Gate. The air is filled with patriotism and pride for India's unsung hero. We'll pass the President House, India's presidential residence, to reinforce this political significance.
It's time to try some world-famous Indian food. We'll visit Qutab Minar, a five-story victory tower built in 1193 by the slave dynasty's founder Qutab-ud-din-Aibak, after we've eaten.
We will visit the Lotus Temple, a peaceful sanctuary, with awe and excitement. Its lotus-like structure and concept of connecting to the ultimate power make this monument a must-see.
After a long day, we would rest and eat at our hotel.
DELHI- VRINDAVAN- MATHURA
Hindus worship Krishna. Every child has heard his stories of his childhood and bravery. Today, observe this great land's serenity. We cover Bankey Bihari, Isckon, Prem Mandir, and Krishna Janam Bhoomi.
Uttar Pradesh's Vrindavan is sacred. The best part is that Lord Krishna spent his childhood here, giving the world many heartwarming moments. Numerous Krishna-Radha temples are here. The curtain in front of Krishna at Banke Bihari Temple opens and closes every few minutes. A gold plate beside Krishna at Radha Raman Temple represents Radha. White marble Prem Mandir is huge.
By afternoon, we'll head to Mathura, where Krishna incarnated. Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, a Hindu temple, is where Lord Krishna was born. The holiest Yamuna River ghat is Vishram Ghat. 16th-century memorial tower Sati Burj. Dwarkadhish Temple has a black-marble Krishna idol and a carved entrance.
The Braj region of Uttar Pradesh celebrates Holi, the festival of joy and enlightenment, a week before. The atmosphere is picturesque with vibrant colours in the air and music and joy soothing your ears. The Banke Bihari Temple's Phoolo ki Holi (flower holi) will enchant you. Flower petals and Krishna-hymns create a peaceful atmosphere.
Attend Mathura's Lathmar Holi, a stick-playing version of Holi.As a tribute to Radha and Krishna, the women hit their male counterparts with lathis (sticks) with enthusiasm and playfulness. Even being part of this quintessence is a treat.
All this would calm our souls and end our day collecting miraculous tales from Indian mythology and celebrating them.
MATHURA- AGRA ( 230 kms – 04 Hrs)
We'll continue our road trip through India today with chai (tea). Cardamom scent will revive our interest in Indian culture.
Agra, the Mughal capital, is famous for its love story that led to one of the seven wonders of the world. Its three UNESCO sites—Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and Taj Mahal—glorify it.
We'll visit 11th-century walled city and India's grandest fort in the afternoon. As you know, Mughals made Agra their capital, so the fort architecture is mostly Mughal. Different Mughal empires ruled from this fort and beautified it according to their tastes. Due to military establishment, approximately 75% of the fort is closed to tourists. Even the remaining portion is huge, so be prepared for long ascending walks.
We'll visit Mehtab Bagh, one of Agra's last Mughal gardens, in the evening. It faces the Agra Fort and Yamuna river north of the Taj Mahal. Mehtab Bagh's fountain overlooks Taj Mahal's gardens. Photography and nature lovers enjoy sunsets here.
After a day of memories and photos, we will head to our hotel for dinner and a dreamy night.
AGRA- BHARATPUR
TAJ MAHAL, a beloved love story, will be remembered today. Sunlight kissing the monument's white marble dome sends a message of love. We will arrive at least 30 minutes before sunrise to get the best view of Taj Mahal, which opens at sunrise with a long queue. (Note: Only your passport and camera are allowed inside, no water. Don’t carry anything). The monument is a one-kilometer Tanga ride, battery bus, or walk from the parking lot. The elegant footpaths and manicured gardens surround a reflective fountain. The mausoleum's white marble end captures changing light. The emperor built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumatz Mahal and promised never to build another such masterpiece. The bird's chirping, the garden's squirrels, the fountain's water, and the Mahal's floral carvings will captivate you.
We returned to our hotel for breakfast after this sureal experience.
After this, we would travel to Sawaimadhopur via an exciting Indian train from Bharatpur railway station to Ranthambhore National Park. We'll enjoy the scenery as we pass small hope huts and waving children.
After a day of love and local culture, we rested at the hotel to prepare for the next adventure.
In Ranthambore
Start your day with coffee or tea and recharge for the day ahead. Surrender to wildlife and dramatic landscapes in a jeep waiting at your door. It would be picturesque with tropical forests, woodlands, steep rocky hills, and flat grasslands.
Hello to the tiger, sloth bear, leopard, jungle cat, wild dog, chirp, and many birds. We will return to our resort, eat a delicious breakfast, and explore the area. I'm sure the day's adventure will keep you awake, but the ride keeps getting better.
Ranthambhore – Jaipur (180 km / 4 Hrs.)
Time to explore India's rich heritage. After breakfast, we drove to Jaipur, the Pink City. Jaipur, the City of Victory, is chaotic and congested, but it still makes visitors pink. Gorgeous hilltop forts and palaces fit like royal footprints, and candy floss-bright turbans lead through brilliant bargain-filled bazaars. Forts and monuments are tourist attractions.
The rich cultural food will stay with you forever.
The best part of the tour is one day before HOLI—a festival of colours, happiness, love, and fun. Join the locals for this amazing festival. We would wear traditional Indian sarees and Kurta pyjamas and celebrate Holi ka Dahan, where we light a bonfire to enlighten our souls and eat local sweets.
Jaipur – (Holi Celebration)
Watching the most anticipated Indian festival is a treat. The most common way Indians celebrate Holi, a festival of happiness and new beginnings, is with power colours and water sprays. People sing, dance, and rejoice. Just relax and enjoy this clean environment.
We got you covered. You can join the hotel guests and host family in traditional dresses.
Jaipur tours
Elephant rides and a visit to the 1592 Raja Man Singh-built Amer Fort make this one of the most exciting and culturally rich days. This is the perfect place to take adorable photos to share your amazing experience with friends and family. Amer's large gates, cobbled pathways, ramparts, Mandirs, and exquisite paintings amaze tourists.
We'll visit Lal Chand Ustad's Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, to blow your mind. The palace's scientific design amazes. The Royal women can watch public life through Jharokhas (small windows). As promised, every corner of the palace will yield stunning photos.
The Maharajas of Jaipur lived in City Palace, built in 1732 by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. Courtyards, buildings, and gardens will charm you. Jantar Mantar, a Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh-era observatory near City Palace, has 19 astronomical objects. This sundial and other astronomical objects are UNESCO world heritage site.
We'll return to our hotels with cameras full of memories and excited eyes.
