Itinerary
Today we arrive at Guwahati. Transfer to hotel Overnight stay.
Today we arrive at airport and drive to Shillong. Enroute stop at Umiam lake for taking selfies and Snaps. Later visit Don Bosco Museum. Continue the journey to the beautiful Hydari Park and Wards Lake. Late evening check in and overnight stay at Shillong.
Post Breakfast we drive to Cherapunji. Cherrapunjee is one of the most beautiful parts of Meghalaya. With many wonderful places to see in Cherrapunjee and around, the drive from Shillong to Cherrapunjee will take almost the entire day, even though the distance is very small. Today’s journey is full of places to see. By the end of the day, you will have visited the following places, Elephant falls, Shillong Peak, Mawkdok Viewpoint, Wah Kaba Falls, Arwah Caves, Dainthlen Falls, Nonkalikhai Falls, Mawsmai Caves/Arwah Caves and seven sister falls. Overnight stay at Cherapunji.
This day we leave for Dawki & Mawlynnong village. At first proceed to the Dawki, where a beautiful river called Umngot with its pristine water flowing along the place. In the river you can do the boat riding. The water is crystal clear that the purity and pristine nature you hardly find any other. For more adventures related activities one can move to Shnongpdeng. Here you can also do different kind of adventures activities like Zip lining, Snorkeling etc. After that drive to Mawlynnong village. Upon arrival enjoy the tiny village amidst beautiful nature. The village is known as the cleanest village in Asia. Late evening come back to Shillong for Overnight stay.
Later drive to Kaziranga. Once we arrive at kaziranga. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning, we can enjoy elephant safari. Later we come back to hotel for breakfast, Post lunch enjoy Jeep Safari. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning drive to Guwahati. The first attraction you will be visiting is the Kamakhya Devalaya that's dedicated to the goddess Kamakhyta or Sati. It is the oldest amongst the 51 Shakti Pithas. From there you will be heading to the other attractions including the Peacock Island, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Paltan Bazaar, Vashisht Ashram, Assam State Museum, Zoo & Botanical garden. Keep your evenings for shopping in the local market and buying some handicraft or locally made goods. Some of the market areas include Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar, Pan Bazaar, and Uzan Bazaar. While doing your shopping ensure that you buy some world-popular tea leaves, Assam Silk, Assamese Traditional jewelry, handicraft, and Singing bowls. Overnight stay at Guwahati
