Itinerary

Early Morning on arrival at Dehradun Railway Station /Airport, meet and greet by our tour representative. Then around 7 A.M. you will drive towards Sankri. En route visit Kempty Fall & proceed for Sankri. Check inn to the Guest house/ Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Sankri.

Today Morning after breakfast start your trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Tal, a 5 kms trek which will take 3-4 hrs around to complete. The trial leading Juda Ka Tal passes through beautiful forests of oaks, birch & deodar trees. Juda Ka Tal is one of the most sought attractions in the Kedarkantha trek. Swargarohini peaks are visible from here. It gains even more prominence in winters where it remains completely frozen. You can walk and glide on the ice sheet. Dinner & overnight stay at Juda ka Tal.

Morning after breakfast proceed for Keadarkantha Trek. It should take 3-4 hrs to reach campsite. At night, the snow-clad mountain peaks shine brightly as the moon, and you will clearly see the Kedarkantha Peak from your camp. After an early dinner, try to get a good night’s sleep as you will be waking up at 3 A.M. to start your summit steps. Overnight stay at Base Camp.

Wake up early in the morning at 3 A.M. had breakfast & proceed towards Kedarkantha Trek. Kedarkantha altitude is 12500 ft. it will take around two and a half hours to reach the summit. Try to make it before the sunrise. As the sun rises, you’ll see the dramatic show of colors in the sky and the transformation leaves and admire the majestic view of Himalayas surrounding you. The most prominent peaks are visible from the top are Swargarohini Peak, Black Peak and Bandarpoonch Peaks. You will also see Yamunotri, Gangotri, Har ki Dun and Rupin Pass. Later make your way back to the base camp for a warm meal. After lunch, proceed towards Hargaon campsite, which takes about an hour and a half from the base camp to reach. Dinner and overnight stay at Hargaon.

Today is your last day on the Kedarkantha Trek. Wake up early morning to catch the sunrise and make your way back to Sankri. It should take around 2-3 hrs to reach Sankri. After a short break at Sankri, we leave for Dehradun. Dropping at your destination “Our Services Ends Here…

Important Note
The infrastructure of these areas is not very well developed now and you should not expect or compare it with the other developed destinations there is always shortage of water and power in this region and so you would come across situation like water supplied on time basis – morning to evening.
In this region all the hotels don’t have any Generator facility. If the power failure hotel will provide candle light.

PAYMENTS:
For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on
confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid upon arrival in INDIA (UTTARAKHAND) but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnel hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.
Apart from above in some cases like Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost

LESS THAN 72 HOURS OR NO SHOW: NO REFUND
In case of Journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).

SOME CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES ARE OUT OF OUR TENDER:
Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines company policy
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS:
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

LAW & JURISDICTION
For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by The Travel Planners, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of UTTARAKHAND.

Terms and Conditions:
- Rates mentioned in the package are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.
- The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines or in the hotels. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to get the confirmations then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. Once given confirmation then full and final payment should be made either in cash or draft at the time when all the travel documents are delivered to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
- Base category rooms will be booked in hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.
- Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
- Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
- In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.
- 100% payment is to be made on arrival.
- Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of international travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
- The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
- Similar hotel will be given in case of non-availability and operator is authorized to change the hotel if required.
- Tour operator is authorized to change the route or itinerary if required.
- Violation of company’s policy or misbehave with any of the company’s staff will lead to cancelation of the package with no refund.
- For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
- In case of international travel, rates may vary based on change of ROE or any other fluctuation in international market or subject to availability.
- Please read emails carefully and understand the contents and prices. All the email conversations will be also part of your contract with us once you make the booking.
- Please take care of the belongings before leaving the car or Hotels. Company is not responsible for any loss.
- As per the directive given by the Government of India, all Indian/Foreign Nationals are required to provide proper proof of identification upon check in. Valid identifications documents are: Passport & Visa together, Voters Id card, Current Driver’s License. All the documents must include a photograph.
- Hotel / camps or any kind of accommodation can deny stay if valid id proof is not provided. Company is not responsible for any ID proof related issues.
- For extra adult many hotels provide extra mattress also instead of extra bed. Kindly inform us in advance if you prefer only extra bed instead of extra mattress.
- It is presumed that the tourist is medically fit to undertake the tour. If you have certain kind of allergy (especially for food) or any serious health issues kindly inform us in advance.
- Many small hotels / resorts do not have lift so kindly inform us in advance if you are not comfortable with stairs.
- Generally, hotel check in time is 14:00 hrs. and checkout time is 11:00 hrs. across India. Confirm early check in or late checkout will be chargeable if not included in cost. Kindly contact hotel directly if you want complimentary early check in or late check out.
- Many hotels charge extra for room heater or Wi-Fi. Normal package does not include this so in that case these charges should be
