4 Nights 5 Days Tour Package to Nairobi, Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara National Reserve, Nairobi
Itinerary
Jambo! Karibu Kenya!
Upon arrival, you will be warmly met and gifted a souvenir safari hat by your driver/guide who will receive you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Here, you will begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. The rest of the day will be spent relaxing with the recreational facilities offered to you in the lodge.
At around 4:00 p.m., after enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee, you will head out for an exciting game-viewing drive to spot different wildlife and birdlife along the way.
The name Amboseli comes from a Maasai word meaning salty dust and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli wetlands with Sulphur Springs, the Savannah, and Woodlands.
After breakfast, you will depart via Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake located on the Great Rift Valley floor. You will arrive in good time for lunch and a siesta. Later you can enjoy a scenic sunset boat cruise to see the hippos and walk on Crescent Island among wildlife and herbivores only. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake’s large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallow. You will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay
After a sumptuous buffet breakfast, you will proceed to your room and ensure all your items are packed. You will then proceed to the reception desk where your driver/guide awaits you. Today, your journey takes you to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for check-in followed by a hot lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is a pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion of wildlife, prolific birdlife, and the unprecedented opportunity of catching up with all the members of the Big Five in one morning. You will spend your time at leisure with the use of the recreational facilities provided for you in the camp. You'll enjoy afternoon refreshments and shortly after, embark on your afternoon game-viewing drive with the possibility of spotting an active game. You'll return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch box. Today, you will descend to the famous site, the Mara River. You can also take an optional balloon safari at extra cost. The reserve offers one of the best opportunities to see cheetahs and lions in Africa. A visit to this reserve in July will allow you the best chance to witness and watch firsthand as thousands of wildebeests migrate across the swollen crocodile-infested Mara River. This is one of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles reaching the Masai Mara. The sheer number of wildebeests arriving in the area is staggering. The migration is a dramatic mass movement of almost two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles in a seasonal annual cycle driven by rainfall. You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Proceed for an enchanting Maasai village cultural experience. You will return to your camp at 8:00 a.m. for a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, you will return to your rooms and ensure all of your items are packed. You'll then proceed to the reception desk where your driver/guide awaits you. Today, your journey takes you back to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will have the option to have lunch (at your own cost) followed by a brief city tour excursion visiting Giraffe Center or Nairobi National Park (at your own cost). Your driver/guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or drop you at your hotel.
