Absolutely Unprofessional Travel Agent ( EaseWind Travels ) I had planned my holiday to the East ( Gangtok,Pelling & Darjeeling ) from 31.5.19 to 7.6.19 for 7 nights. Out of which the first three nights were spend in Gangtok and two nights in Pelling and 2 nights in Darjeeling. The package comprises of pickup from Bagdogra airport , site seeing at Gangtok,Visit to Natula,Changulake,etc,then to Pelling, Local site seeing, then to darjelling and finally drop at Bagdogra airport. We were 4 of us all adults. Our tour started from Bagdogra airpot, and Mr Ajay came to pick us up. But he did not give any drivers or hotel details for the next days. Also he was so irresponsible he asked us to call the hotel at gangtok and book for dinner which he is supposed to do. He got down in between. When I called the hotel, the persons says there is no room booked on our name. We were shocked. Instead of enjoying the journey from Bagdogra to Gangtok, we were under tension whether we will be able to get acccomodation in Gangtok. Finally by the time we reached the Hotel Rice Valley resort, One Mr Mukerjee,Manager he was so reckless in answering us. Also when we booked we mentioned that all four of us belong to one family and we require rooms adjacent or in the same floor. Lift is not working in the hotel. We were placed in different floors. Next day another manager Mr Ravi was polite and he helped us in shifting the rooms. Food is good in this hotel. We were also not given proper details whether natula pass is arranged or not. Every day we had to wait for the driver details.Mr Ajay who is supposed to answer gives us other travel agent number Mr. Pramod. I do not understand how many people we need contact after reaching for holiday trip and booking a package. He gives some driver number who does not respond promplty. Next day when we had to leave for Nathula pass by 7 A.M. Vehicle came at 9:30 A.M. Also there is a confusion before entering the security of Nathula, shifting of vehicle and transfering into a mini van. I do not understand when we paid the amount separately, why separate vehicle not given to us. As we are helpless could not argue with anyone. Next day when we had to leave for pelling, the vehicle is supposed to come at 7 A.M. and reached us at 11;30 A.M. after contacting some more persons with names Mr. Bidesh, Mr Dhruv Singh. Most irritating is the driver asks us about the hotel address, our itenary etc. Finally when the vehicle arrived at 11.30 making us wait for more than Three hrs. When I asked the driver why he was late he says his vehicle was under breakdown and he was not instructed to take another vehicle. This is how the attitude of the so called professional Travel agent. Hotel at Pelling is Dubdi and it is also good. Everyday the driver keeps on changing and this travel agent expects us to keep on chasing them and with the unprofessional people being employed we do not get proper response. Finally when we reached the hotel.in Darjelling we were told by the Receptionist that our rooms were given in two different buildings. When I enquired, hotel person says that they were not informed that we are all one family and want in the same floor. Anutri hotel staff were cordial and they helped us next day in this regard.
Driver number etc in darjelling were given to us after various phone calls to different people.

It is a lesson that one should not depend on this type of travelling agents. EastWind travels according to me is completely unprofessional and at the same time they are not at all strong in Sikkim belt.

I had planned my holiday to the East ( Gangtok & Darjeeling ) during the last week of April 2019 for 6 nights. Out of which the first three nights were spend in a guest house in Gangtok and one night night in Kalimpong and 2 nights in Darjeeling. The package comprises of Three night stay and the transfer from Siliguri and sight seeing and finally drop to Siliguri airport. We were 9 of us including 4 children and 1 senior citizen. Our tour started from Gangtok wherein we were put up in a BPCL Guest house and the travel agent was supposed to send us Two vehicles by 9 am as per the itinerary given to us. But on the first day of the tour we got the driver details very late and as decided we all along with the children were ready before 9 and was expecting the vehicle to be there any moment. I was running pillar to post calling one Mr Ajay who is supposed to be our tour coordinator for the whereabouts of the driver. He kept on saying that its expected anytime and times he was mentioning that the driver is unable to locate the address. We apprantly all is us walked almost a kilometer to the main road which should have been ready for the driver to access. Out of frustration I started calling the East wind agent and I could not get any concrete reply. Finally the vehicle arrived at 11.15 making us wait for more than Two hrs.When I asked the driver why he was late one of them told me that he was given the wrong address had he been given the right one he would have reached on time. The second driver mentioned to me that the earlier driver met with an accident hence he came as a replacement and hence the delay. I immediately called up the EadtWind travel person by the name Pranesh and told him what the driver has to say on the delay. He inspite of listening started yelling at me and asked me to shut up and get into the vehicle and proceed. This is how the attitude of the so called professional Travwl Agent. On the first we could not make couple of points and also spend sufficient time at certain spots because of lack of time. Finally they dropped us at our destination at around 5.30. The drivers before departing promised us to be there by 8.30 the next day. Next day again they did not come to our guest house to pick up since I do not want them to get delayed hence we walked to the spot where they dropped us the previous evening. One of the driver reached at 8.35 and subsequently were chasing for the second one. Since we were not getting any concrete reply I decided to ask the first vehicle to leave along with all the children since the children were getting frustrated. The second reached at 10.45 but with a different driver. He had a different reason to say for the delay.

Everyday the driver keeps on changing and this travel agent expects us to keep on chasing them and with the unprofessional people being employed we do not get proper response.

Finally when we were transferred to Kalimpong on the fourth day I was getting constant calls from the travel agent for remitting the balance amount of 27000. My entire package costed me approximately 1.5 lacs which include 3 night stay and travel. I told the person that I would remit the balance once I reach Darjeeling and moreover of the 1.25 lacs which is been already paid I have not used much of the service. To this their reply was they need to pay the drivers and the hotel towards the confirmation of our stay. Finally when we reached the hotel.in Kalimpong we were told by the Receptionist Mr Kalyan that our rooms are put on hold for the reasons better known to us. It was such an embarrassing situation for us and that too in front of the family he made this statement. Upon seeing us I a dire situation Mr Kalyan felt pity and told us that he would allot the rooms under his risk and allotted the rooms. I immediately transferred the balance amount since I do not want my rest of the tour to get screwed up.

EastWind travels according to me is completely unprofessional and at the same time they are not at all strong in Sikkim belt. They might be strong in Kolkatta but I do not

Feel like sueing them. They have cheated. I will be writing to their MD mr. Rajeev Banerjee in a day or two with complete details.

Tour went on well, everything was organized. Food could have little better. Ambiance was nice.

It was memorable one. We stayed in Tekkaddy woods recommended by East wind holiday the resort is excellent with good hospitality. Small concern was the food menu was repeating.

Good Customized Holiday.....but need to improve on Thekkday Hotels and Houseboat......

East wind holidays are execellent in the way they organise the trips. Freindly staff, good followups. Over all I would recommend one to choose these guys if they are planning to travel.

Recently I had booked a 4N/5D Kerala trip which included flight to and fro tickets, 4star hotel accommodations, breakfast and meal. One A/C car all through the trip.

The trip was pretty good and the travel agent (MayaSateesh) was very helpful all through the trip. In fact I had a marvellous 31st at Takedy Abad forest resort after the day tour.

I thank East wind Holiday tours for making such a sweet trip and would recommend to any one who is interested.

Hospitality was very good.
My trip was includes darjeeling, kalimpong and gangtok.
hotel was very fine in darjeeling in kalimpong was also not bad.
and in gangtok was also good.
we also love food of Darjeeling hotel and kalimpong hotel. but disappoint with Gangtok blue poppy hotel. i would recommend this Travel agent.

Great experience. Really had a wonderful time, enjoyed every minute. Drivers were nice, understanding and friendly. Even though being senior citizens, we never faced any problems.

We went on a week long holiday to Andaman-covering Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Islands with East Wind Holidays.
It was a very good experience. It was a very well organized trip and their representatives were very friendly and helpful.

i booked my trip with east wind holiday tours. Their service was excellent. I got cars as i asked them. But room booked in package not was satisfactory. Room could have been better.

It was a memorable trip to all these places. All the arrangements of the hotels, car booking etc was properly done. Would prefer if they provide with some details on the proper season of traveling to the desired places apart from just arranging the itinerary. All in all, was satisfied with their service. Thanks for a lovely trip.

Trip was awesome, services provided by you were good. But there was some problem regarding check out timings in neil's Island. the guest should always be informed beforehand and trip should be planned by you in that fashion so that the guest should not wait at hotel's reception for hours.
