We had a sudden plan to Manali-Kullu-Shimla which by chance got us in contact of Getzz Destination co-ordinator Abhishek Sharma. Genuinely he had done a good job with his co-ordination and arrangements, he scheduled us a good driver, normal cab, hotel bookings and places to be covered. It was a bit annoying for us to stay in hotels, it was OK, and I want to give 3 rating in Manali and 4 in Shimla.
In starting all was quite ok, whenever any co-ordination was needed, we were only a call/message away from Abhishek, and he handled the same well. Speaking about the payment schedule we both had a pre-understanding to do all payments in installments where thinking was that neither the full amount goes at the start nor it goes at the end. The same was agreed by both of us as well.
Speaking about the driver allotted to us, he was really very good and sober by name Gurpreet Singh . My trip to Manali & Kullu went very awesome ignoring the stay part and I wished to give 4+ rating for these both places, and by this time we paid almost 60% of our entire amount as well.
My Shimla hotel (Google Inn) was only 6 Months old property but was really very far from the proper city. It took almost 20 mins on curvy roads of shimla, on our high speeding car to reach the Hotel. Among heavy bushes and the irony was that, its not having wi-fi connection as well, but making it as a point since this was been promised to us earlier only. Still the staff were really polite and quite helpful so I decided to skip this part of distance and Wi-fi.
But things were wrongly done in Shimla, when one unlucky day, due to bit fever I stayed back at room, and got a call from Abhishek, and it took almost 2-3 hrs to have a conference call with other members whom I was not aware of and finally nothing conclusive. Conference call was between Me + Abhishek + Driver + Raj, they said they got my number from Abhishek, and were forcing me to pay the rest of the amount ASAP. I was rejecting their request but Raj (Cab-co-ordinator) started to yell at me. When I informed Abhishek for the same, again we had a conference call including driver, but there also I couldn't figure, since very less input from Abhishek, and Raj was ruling the call with his yelling nature. Finally they accepted with the same concept of paying in installments, I was thinking for the mentality of Raj here. But nevertheless thought of it was done, and now it will be going good.
On exit from Shimla hotel we informed driver to drop us at Shimla railway station to go on Toy train ride till Dharampur(DMP) Himachal Railway Station. By this time we had the final payment of Rs 7100 still left, that I informed Abhishek that I'll be paying at Kalka. We got down at Dharampur at around 2:30pm and my vodafone network was very weak and as a result no net coverage was happening.
I informed Abhishek to give me an hour or two, and once net was working will get the amount transferred via Google Pay. He accepted and understood our problem, but within 10 mins again the Cab-co-ordinator person named Raj called up driver to tell me to do the payment now itself. I and driver responded the same in a polite manner that there was no network coverage was happening. Again in next 15 mins, Raj(Cab-co-ordinator) called me up and started saying that I would have reached Chandigarh and how is it possible that I don't have proper network and I'm lying and started talking very disrespectfully.
Immediately we sent our location details via whatsapp to Abhishek that we were yet to reach Chandigarh and complained him. On keeping repeatedly trying somehow my husband was able to pay after sometime as we got proper signal on mobile.
Abhishek did apologize and said that Raj(Cab-co-ordinator) was angry on some other orders so he spoke in this way.As per Abhishek, RAJ(CAB-CO-ORDINATOR) was about to give us call with sorry, but still now nothing happened as such.
This all stuff had made us both to feel very bad of our trip and hence to benefit others we are reducing the rating from 4 to 2.
